Australia is living up to its reputation as the “lucky country”, when it comes to fashion at least, with the opening of the eighth Christian Louboutin boutique Down Under.
The newest Christian Louboutin address in Australia is located within the iconic George building on Collins Street and boasts, according to a press release, 95 square metres of pure Christian Louboutin shopping heaven.
The interiors of the boutique are, per the release, filled with natural light from the street-facing façade and pay tribute to the brand’s signature red by way of the vibrant red carpet and splashes of red throughout the boutique. Along with the signature red, the interiors were also reportedly inspired by a boat owned by designer Christian Louboutin.
The boat in question is a traditional boat called a dahabiya and is a type of passenger sailing boat used on The Nile River in Egypt that has reportedly been around in one form or another for aeons.
