EXCLUSIVE: Aussie MLB All-Star Liam Hendriks answers Tokyo Olympics question


Liam Hendriks is by far Australia's most prominent and in-form player in baseball, but unfortunately it's unlikely the MLB All-Star will be able to represent the green and gold at the Tokyo Olympics.

It was a career-best year for Hendriks at the Oakland A's. He became just the third Aussie in MLB history to earn an All-Star nod, joining Grant Balfour and David Nilsson after the reliever shined on the mound with a 1.80 ERA, 124 strikeouts in 85 innings and a career-high 25 saves. He also made it into the Oakland Athletics' history books, breaking a franchise record set in 1975 for most strikeouts by a reliever (124).
