When you see it written out word for word like this, it's even more frightening:

'I personally think that U.S. Americans are not able to do so because, uh, a number of people out there in our nation don't have maps. And I believe that our education, like, such as in South Africa and the Iraq, everywhere, like such as, and I believe that they should, our education over in the U.S. Must help the U.S. or should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries so we are able to develop our future for our children.'

I'm thinking she could have gotten put aside.

Keep this clip in mind in terms of persuasion under the heading of 'when talking too much loses the sale.'

Of course, for the most part, we are not persuading hundreds or even thousands of people, and to be honest, we've no idea how hard it'd be to withstand that kind of force. However, out of the fifty girls, only one cut is circulating the web. The other forty eight did not blather o-n insanely.

As our purpose is not only to fill the air with words, persuaders. We attempt to aim our message right at what our clients and prospects need.

Of course, regardless of how pleasing this contestant's physical type was, whether or not she was beautiful enough to gain isn't the point. She came in third and that undoubtedly shows this is no intelligence contest. She's perhaps not hard on the eyes, only hard on the ears.

Ms. Upton's 'solution' towards the question can be a lesson for us:

Less is frequently better. If you have no idea what you're speaking about, best keep your mouth shut..
