Christ returned in glory. The beast and the false prophet were seized and thrown alive into the lake of fire. The armies that opposed Christ were killed by the word Jesus spoke. Satan was bound and cast into the abyss for a thousand years.

 

And began the millennial kingdom, a thousand years of peace, justice, and righteousness under the rule of Christ. Many were saved during this era, yet not all hearts were loyal. Humanity still carried ancient corruption. The millennium served as the final sifting of every heart and soul.

 

When the thousand years ended, Satan was released for a brief moment. He deceived the nations once more, gathering those who inwardly rejected Christ’s rule. They rose in rebellion. But fire fell from heaven and consumed them instantly. Satan was cast into the lake of fire forever.

 

While this Earth is burning, the Great White Throne judgment was set up. The dead stood before God, and the books were opened. And the book of life was opened. Anyone not found in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. During this time, the earth is burning and cleansed, echoing the 150 days of Noah’s flood.

 

Out of the ashes of the old creation, a new heaven and a new earth appeared pure, radiant, untouched by sin. The New Jerusalem descended like a bride, shining with the glory of God.
