Trillion Trees Initiative

The Trillion Trees initiative attempts to bring together numerous environmental groups, conservation organizations, governments, corporations, and individuals in an effort to plant trees and save existing forests from destruction. The goal is to plant one trillion trees before 2050 and sustain the replanted areas over time. By planting a lot of trees quickly, the growth of them would have a real and significant impact on atmospheric carbon dioxide.

Greening Deserts projects like the Trillion Trees Initiative can reduce climate change, deforestation, droughts, desertification and global warming on a large scale. Greening and reforestation will be realised with eco-farming and ecoforestry, especially in human-made deserts, drylands and wastelands.
