WELCOME to RC's Originals website, home to some of the greatest works of art ever to be produced. Here you can learn all about my life so far and what life holds for the future. You can view my many galleries or even contact me if you want an RC Original for yourself. We are a Yorkshire based company in the town of Barnsley. Rob Carters dream of becoming a full time artist came true only a few years ago and is now becoming one of yorkshires upcoming young artists and only just turning 27 has the rest of his life to keep producing amazing piece's of art work. All my work is, like it says, original and is what I call a wall sculpture. Work that stands out from the canvas and longs to be touched. They take days of work and drying to produce, with layers upon layers built up to give it a sense of sensual, raw and viberance. None of this Reproduced or digital work on canvas. My work is 100% Original Pieces of Art on top quality materials and canvases. I never reproduce pieces exactly but often change colour schemes to suit the clients needs.
My abstract/expressionism, wall sculpture style has caught the eye and imagination of everyone lucky enough to view it. I use a range of medium including Oil, Acrylic, Pastel and Pencil. I also enjoy using nature and other materials from modern day living, like leaves imprinted onto canvas.
Most of my Paintings range between £40 for the smaller canvas going all the way up to £250 for the really big Canvases. If you are really interested in a Piece then get in touch and we can arrange a good price for you. I am also an amazing portrait artist. This was my greatest trait when I was younger and at Art College. I mainly produce them by having my model sit for me for a range of hours and sittings to suit the client. I can also produce a portrait from a detailed Photograph or image from a PC. Prices for pencil and charcoal portraits range from £20 to £50. Where as Oil or Acrylic Portraits range from £50 to £250. I also provide prints of my work which at present come in two sizes. A4 size are £10 each and A3 are £15 each. No project is too big or too small and I would gladly take up any offer of a new idea which comes along.
