 Recycle Your Empty
Inkjet & Toner Cartridges
Tri-County Lighthouse Baptist Church has partnered with a inkjet and toner cartridge recycling company . The program that they have designed allows us to collect empty inkjet and toner cartridges from around our area. This program is an alternative to traditional fundraisers in which there is no selling. This is a great way for money to be raised for our church building fund.

How the program works: Collection bins, clearly marked and accessible during normal business.hours, will be placed at varius locations [schools, stores, gas stations etc.] throughout the comunity and at our church. You can drop off your recyclables whenever it’s convenient for you. Periodically, our church will mail the empty cartridges collected at our church to the recycler.
Did you know that every second eight ink cartridges are thrown away each and everyday? Did you know incinerating 10,000 tons of waste creates one job, while land filling creates 6 jobs, and recycling creates 36 jobs? Did you know 80% of all printer and fax cartridges (around 40 million) end up as landfill? These items are made with petroleum based plastics which are not biodegradable.
Please donate your ink and toner cartridges by placing them in the collection bins found at area locations throughout the comunity or drop them off at Tri-county Lighthouse Baptist Church..
Get the kids involved:
Not only is this an good way to raise funds for the church, it also teaches our children valuable lessons about the variety of materials that can be recycled and it helps them develop life long patterns.
