 Cat Odors...
We all know our fluffies can get a little smelly at times. This formula works great for removing cat urine odors, normal odors in bedding and just about any other odors that bother you. It was developed by a chemist and works due to the reaction between the hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. The reaction produces large amounts of oxygen which bond to things in the cat urine and cause them to neutralize the odor.
1 quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide
1/4 cup baking soda
1 tsp. of liquid soap
* Gently mix in a non-metal container.
* This mixture works best when fresh but it can be stored for later use.
* DO NOT store in an airtight container. It can explode because the baking soda and hydrogen peroxide release a ton of oxygen. You will have a mess all over your cupboard or cabinet.
* If you do decide to store it, be sure to loosen the cap on the bottle you're using. It releases the pressure so it won't explode. Spray bottles work great for applying the mixture but don't forget to loosen the cap for storage.
